Happy Monday bookworms! The start of a new week means it’s time to chat about what we’re reading this week!
This week I’m planning to read…
This monstrous looking stack of books is indeed my insane plan of reading for this week. Let me be clear! I do NOT plan to read 5 books this week because as much as I love reading, I am no wizard capable of that! What I am planning on doing is reading two of these, starting a third, and continuing in on read alongs for the other two. Sounds more reasonable right??! Yeah, still a bit over-the-top for my normal style if we’re being honest.
Over the weekend I started reading THE FAVORITE SISTER and I’m finding it quite interesting so far. I’m still in early stages of reading since this weekend included an abundance of Mother’s Day fun that kept me from my books. Right off the bat, I’m going to say if you like reality TV, this would be a solid choice for you. Continuing on with new releases for this week, I’ll be starting Paper Ghosts, which is a title I was luck enough to with from Goodreads. I’ve seen some awesome reviews for this one, so I’m very excited!
Towards the end of the week and over the weekend I’ll be picking up THE SEVEN HUSBANDS OF EVELYN HUGO. Chances are you’ve see this book floating around social media since it was released back in June of last year. I snagged my copy a few months ago from Book of the Month and have been staring at it on my shelf ever since. The amazing #bookstagram community is coming through yet again to get me reading my older titles with a buddy read for this one going currently!
Speaking of amazing #bookstagram reads…I’m obsessed with YOU and NEEDFUL THING. First off, shame on me for not reading YOU before now. I’m loving Joe and getting inside of his head! Thank goodness for other books being on my TBR this month because otherwise I would give in to all urges of binge reading and ruining my Thursday night chat fun. NEEDFUL THINGS is blowing my mind as well! Stephen King has yet again transported me straight in to a crazy town full of insanity! Seriously, Gaunt is messing with these people and they have no idea and it’s just all pure genius!
What are you reading this week? Have you read any of these titles?
