It’s Monday!!! Yay or nay?? Hmm…I’m not sure how I feel about it today, but I know how I feel about my upcoming reads for this week and that’s full on ecstatic!
This week I’m planning to read…
I’m back again with another monstrous stack of books! I might be a bit overzealous, but I should again stress that I’m not actually reading 5 books this week. So, what’s really going on? Well, let’s start with current reads…
I’m about 60% of the way through PAPER GHOSTS and I’m finding it really interesting. My lovely friend Janel pointed out that she doesn’t think crime books with dementia are for her and then I started to think, maybe they’re my thing? I really enjoyed the dementia aspect in a few recent reads and I especially enjoy when you’re not sure if it’s real or not. I’m waiting to read Janel’s full review until I’m finished, but you should totally check it out in the mean time!
I’m also currently reading YOU and NEEDFUL THINGS. I’m so excited to be hitting the last section of NEEDFUL THINGS this week! The book has been amazing so far and I feel like it’s building towards an epic finale that I’m just going to need to binge read. YOU is also shaping up to be fantastic! I had to put it aside and miss the check point last week because of a surprise movie night date to see Deadpool…sorry Joe, Ryan Reynolds won out! I did dive back in last night and oh man are things crazy! Like jaw dropping crazy!
Next on the TBR agenda is I LIKE MY LIFE, which was just released in paperback in the US on the 8th. I’ll be participating in a discussion thread for this one on the 24th, so keep an eye out for my Instagram stories with details on when and where that will take place. Please stop in if you’ve read the book! After my crime fiction break with I LIKE MY LIFE I’ll be jumping back in to my favorite fictional town of Three Pines with HOW THE LIGHT GETS IN. I’m a little heartbroken over the ending of the previous book in this series, so I’ve been putting it off. I’m also a little bitter that someone already checked the audiobook out from my library. I really wanted to do a hybrid with this one! Who knows…I might give Audible a trial run, just so I can keep my plan the same.
What are you reading this week? Have you read any of these titles?
