Weekly Reads: June 11th

Hi readers! I’m back with another installment of Weekly Reads after a brief hiatus last week. I was traveling across the country in Seattle this time last week and I had to say, I would love to be back there right now. I’m highly contemplating moving to the Pacific Northwest one day and Washington seems like a great fit…we’re talking mild temps, easy accessibility to a major city, and views for days. For now I’ll keep dreaming!

This week I’m planning to read…

img_8009That’s right I’m back at it with with insanely tall weekly stack of books this week! Be prepared for this view all of June because I am participating in a month long read along for 11/22/63. I was extremely pleased when Janel announced this as her read along selection for the month because I have seen nothing but nonstop praise for this book from the Constant Readers out there. We’re about a quarter of the way through and I am officially obsessed! Last section we took a trip back to Derry and my heart just about overflowed with joy to be back with some members of the Losers Club! Am I the only one out there still obsessing over reading IT? The Losers Club will forever hold a special piece of my heart!

This weekend I also started digging into JAR OF HEARTS by Jennifer Hillier. I was lucky enough to snag an ARC of this one from the wonderful people an Minotaur Books and I will be forever grateful! This book is amazing so far! We’re talking short chapters that leave you wanting to know more. I may have stayed up way past my bedtime last night with this book and am only getting by today thanks to large quantities of coffee. Totally worth it. Speaking of today, I officially started the audiobook for THE WOMAN IN THE WINDOW on my drive in to work this morning. I have quite the backlist of titles from Book of the Month club that I want to make my way through this year, so I’m plunging further into my audiobook love affair with this title! So far I’m hooked and I was a bit upset to get to work this morning, aside from regular work related reasons and it being a Monday!

So what’s next on the reading agenda this week? Another quarter of 11/22/63 will be devoured for our checkpoint on Sunday, as well as picking up PROVIDENCE by Caroline Kepnes. If you’ve been following along with me the last month or so, you know I loved YOU by Kepnes, so I almost feel out of my chair with excitement when I won a copy of PROVIDENCE. I’ve been seeing some mixed reviews on this one, but I’m holding off reading any details, so that I can form my own opinion.

What are you reading this week? Have you read any of these titles?
