How is it the middle of October already? I don’t understand where the time has gone or how I’ve managed to only finish reading three books and one audiobook. I’m definitely not going to be checking off as many titles from my October TBR as I wanted to. This week should be less insanity at work, which will hopefully equal more reading time.
One totally not book related thing I’m doing this week…I’m going to see the pre-Broadway production of Beetlejuice! My hubby and I are obsessed with Beetlejuice and he found out that they were running the pre-Broadway shows near us and immediately bought tickets. I’m so excited!!!
This week I’m planning to read…
I kicked off my reading week by starting THE LINGERING yesterday and I can already tell you all this one is going to be a hit for me! I devoured the first 50ish pages and didn’t want to put it down!
On my commute home from work today I’ll be finishing up SOMETHING IN THE WATER as my audiobook selection and then moving on to THE LIES WE TOLD. I’m reading this title with my Nerdy by Nature Book Club on Instagram. I’ve heard great reviews so far, so I’ve got high expectations.
I’ll be sprinkling in tales from DEAD LEAVES throughout the week. I recently have raved about my love for Kealan Patrick Burke’s writing, so it should comes as no surprise that I immediately ordered his latest release to read this month. Since there are nine tales in this little volume I plan to read a few at a time instead of binging them.
After I wrap up THE LINGERING I’ll be moving onto BROTHER, which is my first book by Ania Ahlborn. I bought this book roughly a year ago and have been staring at it on my shelf. I have heard nonstop how brilliant Ania’s writing is, so I’m eager to check it out for myself.
I really can’t tell you enough how happy this week’s lineup makes me! I think October has easily become my favorite month of reading this year simply because of how excited I have been to read everything that I’ve slated for my TBR. Now if only I could fix that pesky problem of working full-time…
What are you reading this week? Have you read any of these titles?
