This weekend was officially the first weekend of December and I read about 50 pages from THE MANSION. Clearly I’m off to a great start! I actually had a fantastic weekend catching up with friends, so it was more than worth sacrificing some reading time.

As I mentioned already, I’m currently reading THE MANSION by Ezekiel Boone. I’m less than 100 pages in, so I haven’t formed a solid opinion of what I think might happen, but I’m definitely intrigued. I’ll actually get to commit to some pages tonight, so I should be posting early thoughts on my Instagram tomorrow.
I also kicked off listening to KINGDOM OF THE BLIND, which is the latest from Louise Penny’s Chief Inspector Armand Gamache series. I just love these book and immediately felt at home within the first few pages of this one.
Next up I’ll be picking up HYDRA, which has sat on my shelf for far to long. I absolutely adored Wesolowski’s Six Stories, so I can’t wait to see what he’s come up with this time!
I’m also aiming to try something new this month and mix in two short story collections that came in my Nightworms box. First up is HARK! THE HERALD ANGELS SCREAM. I was eyeing this book’s release and when I saw it would be included in the box I snagged one as soon as they were available. I’ve never posted an unboxing on here before, largely because I’ve never subscribed to boxes that comes with a ton of extras. This one focuses on the books, which makes me very happy…perhaps I’ll come up with a post about the contents for you all soon!
