Fun fact to start your week off…this post marks a year of consistently (for the most part) sharing my weekly TBRs with you all. I love how accountable these posts hold me and how they let me track my monthly reading progress. What I love most is chatting about the books we have in common and what your thoughts have been on them!
May is off to a rocky start for me. It’s day six of the month and I’ve managed to finish one book. Yikes!
Tonight I’ll be checking off my audiobook listen of CHASE DARKNESS WITH ME, which I have loved! I have really enjoyed listening to Billy Jensen tell me his story, as well as share a ton of fascinating true crime stories. Once I finish up, I’ll be starting MIRACLE CREEK, which has been getting a ton of positive promotion all over bookstagram. Never one to want to be left out, I bumped the priority on this book and I’m hoping to work my way through it by an audiobook/reading combo.
I started reading SNAKESKINS over the weekend and I’m hooked on this science fiction thriller! Typically science fiction isn’t a genre I lean towards, but I want to change this and I thought starting off in the thriller area this book would be one of the best places to start exploring. I’ll be on an Instagram tour on the 8th, so stay tuned for a review soon!
I’m also making my way through OSGOOD AS GONE, which is the start of Cooper S. Beckett’s Spectral Inspector series. Beckett reached out to me directly about reviewing his book and I couldn’t say no after reading the synopsis. Things have kicked off really well for this read and I’m looking forward to picking it back up soon.
Once I wrap up SNAKESKINS and OSGOOD I’ll be digging into TURBULENT WAKE by Paul E. Hardisty. This is an upcoming release from Orenda Books, which I will on tour for next week. The synopsis for this one sounds like it’ll make for not only an engaging read, but one that is also impactful.
