Weekly Reads: June 3rd

June has launched and I’m still trying to play catch up on May reviews! I’ve got two left and then a review post coming at you later this week, so stay tuned for those!

img_1247I’m so excited for my June line-up! Just look at this first stack for the month!

You’ve already seen THE STRANGER BESIDE ME in last week’s post. I’m around the halfway point for the book and absolutely loving it! I knew that Ann Rule knew Ted Bundy, but I had no idea the extent to how well she knew him! Completely crazy!

I cracked open THE FIRST MISTAKE over the weekend and am absolutely hooked! I love a good domestic thriller and this is exactly what my bookworm heart needed right now! First impressions: This is a really light, easy to binge Summer read that will keep you captivated.

THE BURNING CHAMBERS is on my agenda for likely this week and next. This book is nearing 600 pages and a bit daunting! I flipped through the first few pages and felt a little overwhelmed. I love historical fiction and Minotaur is constantly releasing books that match my reading tastes, so I’m not worried about liking this one. I’m hoping to push past my fears tonight and get started.

What are you reading this week? Have you read any of these titles?

    1. Same here! I finally realized it was time to stop slacking hahah! I snagged the audiobook and have been listening every second I’m in my car or cleaning or doing some errand. It’s fantastic! Also majorly creepy and making me hating being alone in my house! 😂
