I decided to make August all about what I wanted to read and not about what’s popular in the moment. I know that reading a lot of popular books gets my bookstagram posts a lot more love, but sometimes those books aren’t always what’s catching my eye. August was a month of largely summer horror picks for me and I loved every moment of it! I read so many wild stories that creeped me out and kept me on the edge of my seat. Novellas were a popular pick for me this month as well, which really allowed me to boost my number of books read.
I’m busy putting the finishing touches on my September TMR and waiting for one last book to arrive to finish out my stack. Stay tuned for more this weekend!
Cheers to September reading! 🥂
