Ana Logan is trying to reconnect with her estranged sister, Rachel, on a holiday to Thailand. When they end up stranded on an island with no radio and no food, reconciliation turns into a desperate fight for survival. Hidden away on this island is a dark history with even darker consequences for those who end up there. Something is watching from the trees.

FREAKING AMAZING! I’ve seen Sogergren’s books featured by several of my favorite horror bookstagrammers and I’m so glad I finally picked one up. THE FORGOTTEN ISLAND is the perfect old school horror story! From the minute I opened the pages of this book I was swept away to Thailand. Sodergren does an excellent job of bringing the jungle alive and the seclusion that comes with being trapped there. The overwhelming sense of unease and dread built up methodically over the course of the story for an all out intense finale that left me on the edge of my seat. This book is perfect for a summer horror lineup, but also would be a great choice throughout the year.

I absolutely loved Sodergren’s writing and I can’t wait to check out more of his books soon!
