I can’t believe how quick October passed by! Work has seriously been kicking my butt lately. Pair that with events of some sort happening every single weekend and I accomplished a lot less than I wanted to when it came to reading in October. I built an epic TMR and barely touched what I hoped to accomplish. I also had a lot of DNFs for audiobook selections, which made me feel a bit slumpy.
So far it seems like November won’t be breaking any reading records for me either. I did roll over quite a few choices from my October stack, so I’m hoping to prioritize those. I’ve definitely noticed a shift in my reading tastes that are taking me away from crime fiction and more into the horror genre. I love both and always will, but right now my mood is calling for the escapism of horror. I also have some fantasy books that I think will be making their way into my winter stacks. And then I find myself thinking about locked room stories or books where winter is the main setting. Basically…it’s the 4th day of November and I’m still not 100% sure what I’m going to post for my TMR stack! Thank goodness I’m in the middle of 3 books to give myself options!
