Cara Hawn’s life fell apart after her father cheated on her mother and got remarried to a woman Cara can’t stand. When Cara accidentally posts a rant about her father online, it goes viral – and catches the attention of the TV producers behind a new reality dating show for single parent families. The next thing Cara and her mother know, they’ve been cast as leads on the show and are whisked away to sunny Key West.

Last year I had the pleasure of reading Bethany Mangle’s book PREPPED and I absolutely loved it! Bethany was incredibly kind and reached out to me about her new release, ALL THE RIGHT REASONS. I knew I was in when I read that the book was being called The Bachelor meets Gilmore Girls. This book definitely lives up to those comparisons with the reality dating show setting and the focus on a mother/daughter relationship.

I absolutely loved Cara, her mom, and the cast of contestants trying to win their hearts. This book has such a fun premise, but it also makes sure to keep the focus on family and the relationships we have with those around us. There is so much relatable content on parental relationships, friendships, and the emotional impact both have, that there is something for everyone to bond over.I would be lying if I didn’t say my heart wasn’t melting by the end of this story! I couldn’t stop cheering for what I was hoping would be the ending, which it did end up being, but 10x better! Bethany Mangle is firmly on my auto-read list and I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next!
