Favorite: The Night Shift
Is it just me or did March manage to somehow fly by while also feeling like it was moving at a snail’s pace? I blame the weird back and forth in the weather for getting my hopes up that warmer Spring temperatures were here to stay and then waking up the next day to 20-30 degree temps.
One thing I was sure was lacking was my reading progress, but I ended the month strong and finished with some amazing stats. I had such a fun time mixing in middle grade reads to my usual thriller and horror selections for the month. I love the Fright Watch books and have already pre-ordered book 3! I had a ton of great reads this month, but only one is making it to my favorites stack at the end of the year. THE NIGHT SHIFT was such a fantastic blend of nostalgia and thrills and chills that I never wanted to stop reading it.
You might not know that unless you caught my stories or Goodreads rating because I’m majorly behind on reviews. I’m planning to get a few out this week starting with the books in this stack that just recently published. You can look for reviews on THE NIGHT SHIFT and THE RESTING PLACE in the coming week.
Keep an eye out for those and my exciting April TBR picks soon!
