I’ve stopped calling these stacks my TBR because in all honesty they are never going to be read in their entirety and that level of self-made pressure has started to feel like too much.
This stack is a collection of books that I could possibly decide to pick up this month. A few are definite buddy reads and carryovers from October that are in my mind must reads. The rest are just books that sound like they could be perfect for the reading mood I’m in.
Why make a stack if I’m not going to read it all? Easy! I could never face aimlessly staring at my shelves to pick my next read. I love having a smaller set of books nearby to choose from and help guide my next read. That by no means eliminates the possibility of me going rogue and just snagging another book that I have to read at the moment.
