December Possibilities

tezza-9996

How are we almost a week into December? I’m slacking so hard on all things holiday…no tree up, very few gifts bought.

I’m also slacking on actually finishing a book. My goal is to have Dead and Gondola completed tonight. I’ve really enjoyed this cozy mystery! It’s got so many fun nods to Agatha Christie and it’s having me regret no Christie in this stack at the moment. I’ll also be aiming to finish my first audiobook, How to Survive Everything, in the next few days. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one, but I’ve been captivated since the start. It’s going to be a tough one to review without spoilers, but I’ll be sure to share my final thoughts soon.

One thing I’m loving about this stack in the mix of new releases and books I’ve had on my shelves for a while. My goal going into 2023 is to start tackling all of my unread books. I’m not going to make any unrealistic goals or a specific number of books each month, but I’m planning to be more conscientious.

This stack isn’t nearly as tall as my original version and I’m feeling pretty confident in how far I can get through it thanks to some super short reads sprinkled throughout. My vibe for December is definitely wintery, creepy, and chilling.

See anything you’ve read and loved? Anything you think should make my must reads list for December?

A huge thank you to the Random House, Harper Perennial, Poisoned Pen Press, and St. Martin’s Press for my gifted copies!
