Weekly Reads: November 5th

November is looking like an awesome month of reading ahead. It’s also going to be a busy month of fun events and a crazy work schedule. I’m planning to take off a few days over the next few weeks to make sure I don’t go insane!

This week I’m planning to read…

img_8996Would you expect me to start a month with anything short of a TBR too big for me to hold in my hand?!

Kicking off the week I’m diving into INHUMAN RESOURCES by Pierre Lemaitre. In case you missed it, you can find me gushing over BLOOD WEDDING here. My newly discovered love for Lemaitre, coupled with the fact that this is about an HR Manager AKA my real life gig, I was instantly sold! I tried to start this book yesterday, but my body told me no. Apparently doing a 10K left me too exhausted for reading…I’m getting so old!

DOCTOR SLEEP is my November King read along selection and I’m really excited about being back with Danny Torrence. I have the ebook downloaded as well, so I’m planning for him to keep me company at the gym this week. Since the discussion are broken down over two Sundays, I’ll be giving you all my halfway thoughts on this one next week.

THEN SHE WAS GONE is my weekly audiobook selection. I am actively trying to make my way through my Book of the Month club backlog, so that I can continue to purchase too many books from them each month, but hitting some of the older titles in audiobook form. I started this on my commute into the office this morning and was instantly sucked in, so I’m thinking it’ll be a winner for me!

Later this week and over the weekend I’ll be fueling my bookworm heart with GOOD SAMARITANS. This book has been topping my Fall wishlist and I am so very much looking forward to checking it out! I’m predicting I won’t leave my couch once I start.

What are you reading this week? Have you read any of these titles?

Disclosure: Thank you Orenda Books and Quercus USA for my free review copies!
