I can’t believe this month is almost over! I’m feeling good about where I ended up in my reading for August even though I didn’t manage to read everything I wanted.
I’ve managed to close out August with some pretty awesome reads!
I flew through THE PASSENGERS by John Marrs, which essentially confirmed him as an auto-buy author for me. Marrs also has several backlist titles that I would like to add into my TBR.
I also wrapped up my audiobook listen to Criminally Good Book Club’s August selection, THOSE PEOPLE. I really enjoyed the slow-burn, intricate plotting of this one and I can’t wait to talk with others about it this weekend!
Last night I wrapped up reading THE TRUTH BEHIND THE LIE, which was a great Nordic Noir title centered around a quirky duo. I’m looking forward to future titles in this series being translated into English!
What didn’t I read that I wanted to? I didn’t manage to pick up my giveaway win of THIRTEEN, which I’m hoping to slide into my Fall reading now.
What’s next for me? THE CHESTNUT MAN!
How did you close out your August?

End of Watch by Stephen King

I am reading The Passengers very soon. I can hardly wait!
If I have time next month I would love to squeeze in The Chestnut Man. Looking forward to your opinion of it!
Have a great weekend and happy reading!

I hope you love The Passengers! It felt so realistic! I started The Chestnut Man last night and it has one of the best creepy opening I’ve read in awhile! It’s a massive book, but I should be sharing thoughts early next week!
Have a great weekend and happy reading to you too!!!
